About this Cocktail
Named after my favorite Bob Marley song. This drink pulls the apple sweetness out of the rum in a slightly bitter way.
1.5oz Appleton Estates Rum
1oz Fleur de Cana 5yr
.5oz pineapple demerara syrup (1:1)
2 dashes Fee Bros Old Fashioned Bitters
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Syrup: Add 1 part pineapple juice to and equal part (by weight) demerara sugar in a mason jar and let sit until fully dissolved, shaking sporadically.
Drink: Stir ingredients. Strain into a rocks glass over ice. Add an orange twist and cherry.
