About this Cocktail

I came across this in a list of 3 ingredient cocktails on Seriouseats.com. It was credited on the site to Jackson Cannon of Island Creek Oyster Bar in Boston. I will admit that part of the reason I was drawn to this particular cocktail was that I happened to have a bottle of Amaro Montenegro, fresh oranges, amd Campari (in place of Aperol) on hand.

It was also 3:30 pm on a Tuesday so I guess I felt better about going light alcohol...

Image horked from online until I get some proper coupes and my drinks look pretty. The image is credited to Robyn Lee.

Ingredients:
  • 1 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 1 oz. Amaro Montenegro
  • .5 oz. Aperol
Preparation:

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add orange juice, amaro, and Aperol (or Campari in a pinch).

Shake well, strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
