About this Cocktail
Variation on a classic. Easy to sip and the aged flavor and feel of the rum keeps the drink from becoming too sweet with the simple syrup and peach bitters.
2.5 oz Flor de Cana aged Rum (I used 18 year)
.5 oz Demerara Simple Syrup
2-3 Dashes Peach Bitters
Stir all ingredients with ice in mixing glass and strain into lowball glass with single large ice cube. Add thick piece of lemon peel (express oils first).
