About this Cocktail

Inspired by a visit to Bar Chef in Toronto where the bar tender improved an amazing Cynar drink with orange blossom water. One of many drinks I named after a Coil song.

Ingredients:
  • 2oz Rye
  • .5oz Cynar
  • .5oz Cinzano Sweet Vermouth
  • .25oz rich syrup (2:1)
  • 2 bs coffee demerara syrup
  • 1 bs lemon juice
  • 2 dashes orange bitters
  • 2 drops orange blossom water
Preparation:

Coffee demerara syrup: Heat 1 part coffee to 1 part demerara sugar until fully dissolved and cool.

Stir all ingredients. Strain into a rocks glass with ice and add an orange twist.
