Ancient Elixir

About this Cocktail

Created for KOVAL at WinterBrew, a local brew only festival in Lincoln Square, Chicago. Inspired by unique tangy sweet of grapefruit and the rye bread spearmint goodness of our Caraway Liqueur.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz Koval Levant Spelt White Whiskey
  • .75 oz Koval Caraway Liqueur
  • .75 oz fresh grapefruit juice
  • .5 oz rosemary syrup
  • two dashes Peychaud's Bitters
Preparation:

Shake ingredients with ice, strain into martini glass or coupe, and garnish with rosemary sprig. Gin can be substituted for white whiskey and one could consider muddling rosemary. (Too many drinkers at this event!)
