About this Cocktail

Via Gary Regan, this rich but approachable cocktail originated with Grant Dingwall, bartender at Cartel in Auckland, New Zealand.

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 oz cognac (Courvoisier VSOP)
  • 1/2 oz Benedictine
  • 1/3 oz Lillet Blanc
  • 2 ds orange bitters (Fee's West Indian)
  • Flamed orange peel garnish
Preparation:

Stir ingredients in a mixing glass & strain into a chilled coupe. Express and flame an orange peel and garnish.
