About this Cocktail

Just picked up a bottle of Batavia Arrack today. Finally. As I was looking for cocktails to make taking advantage I found this sour, and I'm a sucker for sours. Crazy how much the Peychauds colored this. Nice drink that showcases the funkiness of the Arrack without it overpowering the drink. The maraschino really compliments. Plus it's such a pretty pink color! I kinda want to hijack it and call it a Molly Ringwald.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz Batavia Arrack
  • .75 oz Lemon Juice
  • .5 oz Maraschino Liqueur
  • .5 simple syrup
  • .5 egg white
  • 2 dashes Peychauds
Preparation:

Dry shake, shake, strain
Up with Lemon peel
