Bourbon and Allspice combine for this smooth, easy drinking riff on a whisky sour, with a hint of maple to signal fall has arrived. Only problem is that my non-bourbon drinking wife loves it, leaving one less spirit of my own.
3/4oz Allspice Dram
1oz lemon juice
3/4 oz barrel aged maple syrup
2 dash angostura
Add all and dry shake. Add ice and shake hard. Double strain into chilled coupe, add a few drops of Ango and a lemon peel.
