Angelic Organic Learning Center in Caledonia, IL summer harvest farm dinner + Sandhill Family Farm's fresh organic produce!

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Koval Toasted Barrel Millet Whiskey
  • 1 oz raspberry peppercorn balsamic shrub
  • 3 large basil leaves
  • 2 dashes Angostura
Preparation:

Prepare shrub: bring raspberries and blueberries to a boil with 1/2 cup sugar and 1 cup water. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, let cool and leave covered overnight; strain. Make peppercorn concentrate by boiling 2 tbs crushed peppercorns and 2 tbs whole with 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar; strain and combine with syrup. For drink: muddle basil with syrup and bitters, fill glass with ice, add whiskey, and top with soda. Garnish with basil leaf and fresh berries. Voila!
