About this Cocktail

A @demonbitters original.

A Last Word with different ingredients. I appreciate I could have therefore used any drink in that last sentence and it would have been technically correct but this does carry the spirit of the Last Word. That chartreuse flavour married with the bite of citrus and balanced with the sweetness of liqueurs that also add layers of flavour.

And it so happens that it is a yellow Last Word which is pretty.

Krupnik Honey Liqueur for gin. Still 40% but carrying honey sweetness.

Yellow Chartreuse for Green to match the Krupnik's colour.

Kirsch for Maraschino for two reasons. 40% vs 32% ABV to partly offset the 55% to 40% drop of the Chartreuses. And bone dry vs Maraschino's sweetness to offset the gin to Krupnik switch.

And then lemon for lime to be yellow consistent.

  • 3/4oz Krupnik honey liqueur
  • 3/4oz Yellow Chartreuse
  • 3/4oz Kirsch
  • 3/4oz lemon juice

Shake and strain. Treat your brain.

No garnish.
