About this Cocktail
Overly complicated, overly delicious margarita-esque pleasure.
1.75 oz tequila blanco (El Jimador used here)
.25 oz St. Germaine
1 oz. fresh lime juice
.5 oz black peppercorn/red pepper flake simple syrup (wanted more heat so I steeped pepper flakes- turned out awesome)
.25 oz DIY grenadine
3 dash rhubarb bitters
Pinch of sea salt
Muddle basil, syrup, grenadine in mixing glass. Add all ingredients, fill with ice, and shake. Strain into rocks glass (nearly) filled with fresh ice. Basil garnish.
