About this Cocktail
With all the home-grown grapefruit I was given, I had to try all the cocktails I could find. I immediately gravitated towards tiki drinks.
2 oz Demerara rum
.5 oz apricot brandy liqueur
.5 oz simple syrup
.5 oz lime, the juice of
.5 oz grapefruit, the juice of
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 dash absinthe
From the Tiki+ iOS app:
Put everything in a blender (with 6 oz of ice). Blend at high speed for 5 seconds. Pour unstrained into a pilsner glass, adding more crushed ice to fill. Garnish with a mint sprig.
