An unusual combination, with a rich mouthfeel and a definitely after dinner flavour profile. The lemon and egg yolk give a sherbet like zing but with textural depth, while the combination of port, cola, lemon and absinthe evoke memories of the blackjack penny chews I had as a kid.
30ml High West Double Rye Whiskey
25ml Quinta do Infantado vintage port
25ml lemon juice
15ml cola syrup
5ml Esprit Edouard absinthe
2 generous dashes of Dr Adam Elmegirab's Aphrodite Bitters
1/2 an egg yolk
Shake hard. Really, really hard. Double strain into a chilled glass.
