Blackjack Sherbet Flip

About this Cocktail

A @demonbitters original.

An unusual combination, with a rich mouthfeel and a definitely after dinner flavour profile. The lemon and egg yolk give a sherbet like zing but with textural depth, while the combination of port, cola, lemon and absinthe evoke memories of the blackjack penny chews I had as a kid.

Ingredients:
  • 30ml High West Double Rye Whiskey
  • 25ml Quinta do Infantado vintage port
  • 25ml lemon juice
  • 15ml cola syrup
  • 5ml Esprit Edouard absinthe
  • 2 generous dashes of Dr Adam Elmegirab's Aphrodite Bitters
  • 1/2 an egg yolk
Preparation:

Shake hard. Really, really hard. Double strain into a chilled glass.
