About this Cocktail

This cocktail blew my mind in early 2014 and is easily my favourite cocktail of the year.

30 ml Gammel Dansk
10 ml DOM Bénédectine
15 ml Rose hip syrup
15 ml Blood orange syrup
10 ml Lemon juice
1 bar spoon homemade rowan berries bitter
Rim: dried sugared blood orange zest

Blood orange syrup
Combine 5 parts blood orange juice and 1 part sugar in a saucepan and reduce down to half. Bottle and refrigerate
Dried sugared blood orange zest
Zest blood orange peel and mix with simple syrup, let sit for a while and put on a plate and lets dry in oven. When dry mix to a powder.
Shake everything with ice, strain into a cocktail glass which has been rimmed with the dried sugared blood orange zest.
