About this Cocktail

This drink was used for a comp for monkey shoulder, based on burns night. I wanted it to be a fiery, spicy drink. With strong taste of my favorite parts of the monkey shoulder.

Ingredients:
  • 45ml monkey shoulder whiskey
  • 17.5ml cinnamon syrop
  • 12.5ml harveys bristol cream sherry
  • 7.5ml fernet branca
  • Half a smoked blood orange
  • 6 dashes thai bitters
Preparation:

Smoke the blood orange for 2 hours in hickory and apple wood chips. Use rosemary for a garnish. Double strain into a coupette. And rim the glass with an orange zest
