About this Cocktail

The Bohannon is attributed to the Deep Ellum bar in Allston, MA. Note that their current recipe for this drink lists Yellow Chartreuse while the original from about 5 years ago called for Green Chartreuse. Either way, this is a fantastic cocktail that features each of the ingredients well. My recommendation would be to prioritize the Terroir gin and use whatever Chartreuse you have. As featured at

  • 2 oz gin (i used St. George Terroir, but not sure what the recipe calls for)
  • 1/2 oz Kronan Swedish Punsch
  • 1/2 oz Yellow or Green Chartreuse
  • black pepper

Combine ingredients except pepper in a mixing glass. Add ice, stir and strain into a coupe glass. Add black pepper for garnish.
