Boulevardier

About this Cocktail

This was my twist on a Negroni that uses bourbon instead of gin until I learned via the comments below that it's really just a Boulevardier with bourbon instead of rye.

Ingredients:
  • 1 oz Bourbon
  • 1 oz Campari
  • 1 oz Sweet vermouth
  • 1 Orange twist
Preparation:

•  Stir all ingredients
•  Add ice
•  Garnish with twist

This cocktail is called a Boulevardier, a prohibition cocktail out of Harry McElhone's 1927 bar guide guide called "Barflies & Cocktails"

Guess I'm not surprised someone else thought of this already.

No worries. I like it better with with Rye, Aperol, Carpano and 2 dashes of Angostura
