General cocktail recipe derived from a half-remembered recipe from years back. Today we did variations with Luxardo Apricot, St. George's Spiced Pear, and Clear Creek Distillery's Cranberry Liqueurs.
1 1/2 oz Rye (or Bourbon)
1/4 oz Tempus Fugit Creme de Cacao
3/8 oz Fruity or Nutty Liqueur of Your Choice
1 - 2 dashes Aromatic Bitters (Bitter Truth or Angostura)
Combine everything but bitters in a mixing glass. Stir and taste (to decide whether to add bitters, and how much). Add ice to a double old fashioned glass and dash bitters on the ice. Pour contents of mixing glass over the ice and serve.
