First of my winter nightcap attempts ...
60ml James E. Pepper 1776 100 Proof Bourbon
Distillery Botanica Reverie Absinthe
Dale DeGroff's Pimento Aromatic Bitters
In a mixing glass, soak a sugar cube with the bitters, add a good splash of water and muddle till dissolved.
Add some small ice and stir to cool.
Rinse a rocks glass with Absinthe.
Pour in chilled bourbon and enjoy.
Can serve with a big ice cube if desired.
