About this Cocktail
This original is named for my beloved fellow barkeeps back when I worked at Portland's Bunk Bar. They liked to celebrate with pints of Fernet and bourbon on ice.
1 oz Fernet
1 oz bourbon
3/4 egg white
3/4 fresh lemon juice
3/4 simple syrup
2 dashes angostura
Dry shake firmly; add a few cubes and shake again until chilled. Strain over a big cube. Hit it with a lemon peel and some drops of ango.
