About this Cocktail

Recipe by Frankie at Copper Common in Salt Lake City. Part of the Fall seasonal menu, 2016.

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 oz Strega
  • 1/2 oz lemon juice
  • 3/4 oz orgeat
  • 3 dashes dandelion and burdock bitters
  • 1 leaf Oven-dried sage (for burning)
Preparation:

Shake all ingredients except Sage over ice. Light Sage on fire and cover with a mason jar. Pour cocktail into mason jar, seal and shake to incorporate smoke. Pour into coupe.

    This is a winning combination of flavours that really compliment each other. I found this a tad on the sweet side but I put that down to the orgeat I used.
