About this Cocktail

Made by Kate McGraw 2013

  • 2 parts chilli infused tequila
  • 1.5 parts triple sec
  • .5 part lime cordial
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Angostura bitters
  • 1 handful cilantro
  • Lime twist

In mixing glass muddle cilantro. Add ice, then build in the rest of the contents. Shake well. Strain into martini glass. Scorch lime twist and add.

NOTE: I usually serve this cocktail with a lime/mint caviar, which is made of the juice of one lime muddled with mint, strained, then heated with a teaspoon of sugar and one sheaf of gelatine.
