About this Cocktail

The picture does this one no justice. I'm a little drunk and my visual standards are a little impaired, but this works very well. I have a mason jar full of Espolòn Reposado Tequila, which I have been infusing with nice fresh strawberries for about 3 weeks now. I saw a recipe similar to this on Leblon's (Cachaça) Instagram and decided to tweak it.

  • 2 oz. Leblon Cachacha
  • 1 oz. Strawberry infused Espolòn Tequila
  • .5 oz. Agave Nectar
  • 3 Tequila Soaked Strawberry Halves
  • 3 Torn Basil Leaves
  • 1 Lime, cut into eighths

Cut lime in half, and cut the halves into quarters. Add to double rocks glass with strawberries, Basil and agave. muddle repeatedly. Add Tequila and Cachacha and stir a little. Crack some ice cubes with the back of your bar spoon and add to the mixture until it has reached the rim. stir some more to separate the juices and spent fruits. Sip & Enjoy.
