Working through a long list of beer related/ inspired cocktails for the opening of Hong Kong's latest craft beer spot; Second Draft. Here I've put together a very simple but dangerous Scotch inspired dram that calls for Blended Scotch, Scotch ale (from New Zealand, though) & Honey Syrup. Sláinte.
45 ml Pig's Nose Blended Scotch Whisky
15 ml Honey Syrup (2 parts Honey/ 1 part water)
45 ml Renaissence Stonecutter Scotch Ale
3 Grains Barley (not pictured)
Too easy to be true: combine Pig's Nose & Honey Syrup in mixing tin and shake. Double strain into coupe and top with Scotch Ale. Place barley grains in the centre of the drink (in future we will be using Scotch Ale on tap for this drink, giving it a nice foamy head... also not pictured).
