About this Cocktail

Picked up a bottle of Calvados Coquerel VSOP this weekend. Completely new ingredient to me so I'm getting to know it. Seems like it would be really good in the fall.

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Calvados
  • .25 oz honey syrup
  • 1 dash Peychaud's Bitters
Preparation:

Build in rocks glass. Stir. Add one large ice sphere.

    Definitely good autumn sipping. Like the idea of honey syrup here but I think a full ounce might be too sweet for me. How'd it turn out?

    I liked it but I agree-it was a bit sweet for sure. I'd maybe dial back the honey syrup to 3/4 next time.
