When I received a drink request at Russell House Tavern (Cambridge, MA) from a server/table for a drink using Campari as the base spirit, I reflected on my thoughts on the Cosmopolitan and drinks I have seen in Beta Cocktails and at the Anvil in Houston. Created February 2015.
1 1/2 oz Campari
3/4 oz Clement Creole Shrubb Orange Liqueur
3/4 oz Lime Juice
3/8 oz (a fat 1/4 oz) Cranberry Juice
1 pinch Salt
Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
