About this Cocktail

This is an original made by Michael Murgado.

The inspiration came from incorporating tangerines into a cocktail to make a refreshing day time delight. After it was all said and done, the cocktail resembled a French 75 but with a tropical flair. Cheers.

Ingredients:
  • 1 quarter of honey tangerine muddled
  • 1.5 oz of Hendricks Gin
  • 1 oz of house-made ginger syrup
  • .5 oz of lemon juice
  • 10 drops of Tiki Bitters
Preparation:

1) Cut tangerine into quarters and remove the peel
2) Muddle one quarter of tangerine in glass
3) Combine rest of ingredients
4) Shake with ice and strain into Collins glass with fresh ice
5) Top off with Champagne or sparkling wine
6) Garnish with peel from tangerine or zest from an orange
