About this Cocktail
Recreated (from [foggy] memory) from the original by Tomak Banan at The Liquor Rooms - Dublin
(I made up the name since it was untitled. Open to suggestions)
1oz Ron Zacapa rum (Appleton will work ok in a pinch)
1oz sweet vermouth (Carpano Antica works best)
1Tablespoon whole roasted coffee beans
1barspoon Luxardo Maraschino cherry juice.
1 barspoon Luxardo Maraschino cherry juice (or Luxardo Maraschino itself will get the job done).
Small amount of roasted whole coffee beans (just enough to layer bottom of shaker [you don’t need that much — a little goes a long way])
Muddle beans in Luxardo juice.
Add all ingredients and stir in ice.
Strain/filter well over block ice (a few coffee particles are unavoidable, but that's part of the charm).
Grapefruit peel garnish.
