I found this on Summit Sips and the drink apparently is a standard at Locanda in SF. Haven't been there to try it I've made it at home. Most recently I made it for a group of pastor friends who universally agreed having Church is a good thing.
1 oz London Dry Gin (I like Boodles)
1 oz Aperol
1 oz Lemon Juice
.5 oz Cocchi Americano (While different, Lillet Blanc is a nice alternative)
.5 oz gomme syrup
Shake with ice and strain over cubes or a large chunk of ice in a rocks glass.
