About this Cocktail
A slight variation on a classic drink from a classic book. Originally equal parts rye, sweet and Benedictine, I upped the rye and lessened the Benedictine.
1.5 oz. Rittenhouse rye
3/4 oz. Dolin sweet vermouth
1/2 oz. Benedictine.
2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
Dash Herbsaint Original Absinthe
Lemon peel garnish
Combine first 5 ingredients. Stir, and strain. Add 1 brandied cherry, lemon peel around the rim and dropped into the glass.
