The wife was making fresh tzatziki and one of the byproducts was fresh cucumber juice (achieved by a running a seeded but unpeeled cucumber through a food processor and straining the resulting mash) so of course, I immediately looked around to see what we had that combined with this to create a delicious cocktail. Normally I would have started with gin but as we were shockingly and disturbingly completely out of gin, including the backup Gordon's (having recently evacuated the liquor cabinet for a whole house termite fumigation, like in Breaking Bad, which ended up being canceled but not before I, with a little help from my friends, could completely exterminate all the near-empty bottles) I had to come up with a non-gin plan for the cucumber juice.
1 part Cathead honeysuckle vodka
1/2 part fresh cucumber juice
1/2 part fresh squeezed lime juice
1 part tonic water
Combine the vodka, cucumber juice and lime juice and shake with ice. Strain and pour over Ice. Top off with tonic.
