About this Cocktail

There is nothing clever or creative about this, It's a by the book 1:1:1 boulevardier. I just thought that it was particularly tasty and interesting, and therefore worthy of posting, with the Copper Fox Rye (from right here in Virginia), which has a high rye, no corn (just 2/3 rye 1/3 barley) mash bill and an aging process that gives it a noticeably smoky flavor. Check it out.

Ingredients:
  • 2 ounces Copper Fox Rye Whisky
  • 2 ounces Vermouth Perruci
  • 2 ounces Campari
  • Orange Zest twist
Preparation:

Combine in ice filled mixer, stir well, strain into chilled glass (I like these in a well chilled glass with ice as well, but obviously can be served up)
Express zest and garnish therewith
