About this Cocktail

This is one by Mal Spence at the Kelvingrove cafe in the west end of Glasgow. An excellent use of shrub instead of citrus.

Ingredients:
  • 1oz Black bottle blended scotch
  • 1oz Kingston black apple aperitif
  • 1/2 oz pear shrub
  • 1-2 dashes Dr Adam Elmegirabs teapot bitters
Preparation:

Add all ingredients to mixing glass and stir with plenty of ice. Strain into rocks glass over a large cube of fresh ice and garnish with a slice of dried apple.
