About this Cocktail

I made this drink to highlight a rosemary & lavender syrup I had made. It's inspired by a classic margarita, but with a few twists.

  • 2oz Maestro Dobel Platinum Tequila
  • 0.75oz Pierre Ferrand's Dry Curaçao
  • 0.5oz Rosemary Lavender Syrup
  • ⅛ teaspoon citric acid

To make the syrup, combine a half cup of rosemary, a half cup of lavender, a cup of sugar, and 2 cups of water in a pot and bring to a boil. Summer for 10 minutes before cooling and bottling. A teaspoon of high-proof grain alcohol keeps it preserved.

Combine all ingredients over ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled coupe and garnish with a lemon twist.
