About this Cocktail
A reverse-engineered version of a drink I had at Mother-of-pearl, in the East Village.
3/4 oz Rhum Clement VSOP
3/4 oz Smith & Cross
1/2 oz El Dorado 15 year
1/2 oz Julie’s mix*
Fresh mint (8 leaves + one sprig)
Muddle 8 mint leaves in a shaker. Add the liquor and Julie’s mix. Fill with ice. Shake vigorously. Fill a Julep cup with crushed ice. Strain shaker into the Julep cup and garnish with sprig.
