About this Cocktail

Finally got my hands on some Domaine de Canton. Here's the first crack

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz. Rye (I used wild turkey)
  • .75 oz. Domaine de Canton
  • .75 oz. Lemon Juice
  • .25 oz. Demerara Syrup
  • Dash of Allspice Dram
  • 2 basil leaves (1 for garnish)
  • Half of a white peach
Preparation:

Cut peach half into quarter slices. Add to mixing tin along with basil, sugar cube and .25 oz. of water. Muddle until the peaches are broken up a bit and the sugar is dissolved. Add Rye, Domaine and Lemon to tin, along with ice. Shake, double strain into a rocks glass. Add a dash of Allspice Dram and garnish with basil leaf.
