I started this one with the idea of an Improved Holland Cocktail. I had been playing around with the Zirbenz stone pine liqueur and wanted to work it into this drink. The result is a nice savory flavored drink.
1 1/2 oz. Chief Gowanus new-netherland gin
1/4 oz. Maraschino liqueur
1/4 oz. Zirbenz Stone Pine Liqueur
1/4 oz. Simple Syrup
1 dash Angostura
1 dash Regans Orange Bitters
Stir all ingredients, strain, rocks, Garnish: Orange Zest (healthy sized)
