About this Cocktail

Not unlike the Aviation, the Eagles Dream soars. Based on Robert Hess’ adaptation of the original appeared on the Savoy Cocktail Book, I omitted Hess’ addition of 1/2 teaspoon of sugar for a 1/4 oz of simple syrup.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz Empress Gin
  • 0.5 oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 oz Gifford’s Creme de Violette
  • 0.25 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1 egg white
  • Optional flower garnish
Preparation:

Add all ingredients into a shaker and dry shake for 20 seconds.

Add ice to the shaker and reshake for an additional 20 seconds.

Double strain into a small cocktail glass or a Nick and Nora glass.
