This cocktail is featured in Stew Ellington's '901 Very Good Cocktails' (Buy his book). The recipe is brand ambiguous, and just calls for gin, but I used St George's Terroir Gin. It added an extra herbaceous component that I loved. I also upped the lemon juice a bit for a little extra tartness.
1.5 oz St George Terroir Gin
.75 oz R&W Apricot Liqueur
.75 oz Dolin Dry Vermouth
1 tsp Small Hand Foods Grenadine
.25 oz Meyer Lemon Juice
3 dashes 'Bitter Queens' Eucalyptus Bitters
Shake and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with cherry.
