About this Cocktail

A Hemingway Daiquiri remade with tequila and agave syrup. I have kept the strength of the original Papa Doble, but added some sweetness with the agave vs his original strong and sour version. I fancy the grapefruit may also offset the smoke of Mezcal well. That variant may be next up...

Ingredients:
  • 3 (three) shots of Ocho Tequila Reposado
  • 3/4 shot grapefruit juice
  • 1 shot lime juice
  • 1/2 shot Maraschino
  • 1/2 shot agave syrup
Preparation:

Shake and strain.

Love it. Just what I was in the mood for. I swapped some homemade chipotle simple in place of agave which seems to work just fine in a pinch.
