This drink was concocted in St Louis on the Everhere Logistics road trip. It was a hit among the EHL artists and fools from both the East Coast and the West Coast.
1.5 oz J.J. Neukomm Missouri malt whiskey
1.5 oz Dolin Blanc
.5 oz ginger thyme syrup
.5 oz lemon juice
A couple dashes of lemon bitters
Shake well and pour over ice.
*to prepare ginger thyme syrup: mince fresh ginger and boil it for 8 minutes; throw several springs of fresh thyme in; simmer for 2 more minutes; add a splash of lemon juice; strain out the solids; add equal parts turbinado sugar.
