About this Cocktail

Saw mention of this online, asked Nick Detrich to shake one up for me. This is how he did it.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz Fernet Branca
  • 1 oz Tempus Fugit creme de cacao
  • 1 oz cream
  • approx 0.25 oz homemade cane syrup
Preparation:

Combine, shake, strain. Bonus: express oil from orange peel around the glass.

    Damn ! I'm gonna treat myself with one as soon as i hopefully get the tempus creme de cacao or marie brizard's chocolat royal. I'm gonna try it with Dry Mozart though and more cane to see if it's good .

    I thought up the idea and wrote about it in 2009 after the Anvil mentioned that they did a Campari Alexander. I believe that I heard that they started doing one there perhaps due to my blog post.
