Wanted to do something with a bottle of fig liqueur I had lying around, decided on a rye sour variant. A bit sharp on the tongue (could probably do with a touch less lemon) but the aftertaste is amazing. Figgy rye.
2 oz Old Scout Rye
.75 oz Creme de Figue
.75 oz lemon juice
4 dashes Jerry Thomas Bitters
Shake over ice, serve straight up with a lemon coin.
