About this Cocktail

This is my very first cocktail I ever created. It's a spin on an aviation using rum.

Ingredients:
  • 1.5 oz. Flor de Caña 7yr Blanco rum
  • 0.5 oz. Crème de Violettes
  • 0.5 oz. lime juice
  • Barspoon of simple syrup
  • 1 small egg white
  • 1 dash of Angostura bitters (optional)
Preparation:

Add all ingredients except Angostura butters into a shaker tin, and hard shake for 30 seconds. Add a hand full of ice cubes and shake again for 10 seconds. Then fine strain into a chilled coupe glass. (Optional- Float a dash of Angostura bitters on top).
