Homemade. Fusion of French 75 and Kit Royal. Better garnish is fresh currants if available.
1 oz gin
1/2 -3/4 oz cassis depending on taste
1/4 -1/3 oz lemon juice, depending how tart u like
Champagne, Asti, or Cremant
In a champagne flute combine gin, cassis, top with bubbly. Garnish with cherry or fresh currant berries if available. The drink can be tweaked for personal preference by varying the type of bubbly (Asti for sweet tooth, Brut for dry fans) and lemon (tart).
