Gaucho cocktail

About this Cocktail

Tasted at Weather Up Brooklyn, with Kunal Ghevaria and Christian Wopperer. Christmas 2013.

Ingredients:
  • 1 oz epsilon reposado tequila
  • 1 oz ilegal reposado mezcal
  • 3/4 oz Cynar
  • 1/2 oz Combier or other orange liqueur
  • 1 dash of Dutch's colonial (or angostura) bitters
  • Malbec or Tempranillo wine
Preparation:

Mix the first 5 ingredients and strain into a double old-fashioned glass. Top with a float of wine.
