Germane Julep
Saved by 4 People
About this Cocktail

Somehow, in my 5 years of bar tending, I've never made a Mint Julep. I thought it germane for future endeavors so tonight I set out to rectify that mishap.

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz Old Overholt Rye Whiskey
  • 2-3 sprigs of mints
  • Herbal orange and mint tea
  • .25 oz St. Germain
  • Powdered Sugar
Preparation:

Muddle mint sprigs with 1 hefty teaspoon of powdered sugar and two teaspoons of water. Add ice, whiskey, herbal tea, and St. Germain and shake. Strain over crushed ice and garnish with mint.
