Ginger Gold Rush

About this Cocktail

My riff on the Gold Rush which uses honey instead of ginger in addition to playing with citrus.

Note: the original recipe is 2 parts Bourbon, 3/4 part honey, 3/4 lemon juice.

  • 1 1/2 oz Ginger Liqueur
  • 1 oz Bulleit Bourbon
  • 1/4 Freshly Squeezed Lime Juice
  • 1/4 Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • Maraschino and/or Luxardo cherry for garnish.

Combine all ingredients into a cocktail shaker and shake vigorously until well chilled.

Pour into a well chilled Nick and Nora glass and garnish with a Maraschino and/or Luxardo cherry.
