About this Cocktail

Winter and post tropical flavors keep this drink loved and enjoyed at Gunshow in Atlanta.

Ingredients:
  • .75 oz Vida Mezcal
  • .75 Mexican spiced cold brew coffee
  • .5 oz fresh lime
  • .5 oz fernet leopold
  • .5 oz velvet falernum
  • Garnish with a big, ribboned lime twist
Preparation:

Mexican cold brew.

You want to use a strong, delicious coffee with a lot of personality and flare for this blend. Grind up 36 oz. of fresh coffee and add to a vacuum seal bag or Cambro container and set aside. Now with a box grater, take 2 disks of Nestle Abuelita chocolate and grate both completely. Toss in the container with coffee. Add 1 quart of cold water and zest 2 large oranges and add to coffee and chocolate. Refrigerate overnight. After refrigerating, grab a small saucepan and heat the brew slightly to melt all remnants of chocolate, but be sure not to boil. Fine and paper strain your brew. Salud!
