Max Messier, the man behind Whiskey Tango Foxtrot in NYC came up with this delicious cocktail, which takes the heat of our Noah's Mill bourbon and adds just enough Oloroso sherry to provide a nice nuttiness and brings a brightness with the addition of lemon juice.
2 oz Noah's Mill
.75 oz Sherry (Oloroso style)
.25 oz lemon juice
1 dash of Angostura Bitters
Combine all ingredients in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake for 15 seconds and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a lemon wheel.
